CURLEWIS GOLF CLUB
MORE THAN JUST A GOLF COURSE
Next level lands at Curlewis
Contemporary, elegant and innovative. Next level facilities and epicurean experience form the foundation of the spectacular $20 million accommodation and Clubhouse facility which recently opened its doors.
From the minute you drive in the gates, it’s obvious that no expense has been spared in bringing this incredible new Bellarine landmark to life. The best thing? Everyone is welcome at Curlewis,
not just members.
Sleepover in style
Answering the region’s desperate need for accommodation, a Curlewis ‘sleepover’ delivers luxe without pretension – or evil price tag. Whether it’s a romantic getaway, a mini break, a golf trip, a conference or a central hub for all there is to see, do, explore and experience in the region, Curlewis has got you covered.
Sleeping 126, sixty cool eco-suite constellations are nestled amidst Australian indigenous landscape, flanking one of Victoria’s most revered golf courses (hint: if you’re staying, book early to get a game). The accommodation is immersive within the surrounding landscape, not invasive and imposing. The rooms are welcoming, contemporary and comfortable and feature seriously-comfortable beds, private balcony, bespoke luxurious robes and all the essentials (be it smart TV with full Foxtel suite and casting options, iron and ironing board, premium Julius Meinl coffee or Tea Drop tea, bathroom amenities – the list goes on. Most of the rooms have stunning views spanning either fairways or across the bay. Each room also features original Eleanor Millard artworks.
Inside and out, charisma abounds
Sleepover or not, the imposing new Curlewis Clubhouse is an attraction in its own right. Embrace spectacular views spanning fairways, greens and bay from within the Clubhouse itself or on the grand veranda. Meander past the commanding ‘Warhol Wall’ featuring original signed works created by the founder of global pop art, Andy Warhol – a not-so-subtle reminder that Curlewis is no ordinary golf club. The anthesis of ‘old pudding’ Pro Shops is also a popular Clubhouse hang out.
If you love great food you’re in for a treat. Within the Clubhouse is casual gathering hub, Ivor’s Spike Bar serving up AM snacks, brunch, lunch and PM Snacks until 11pm every day. Signature restaurant, Claribeaux, will delight with its creative structural form and culinary options – French influence, contemporary fusion and a keen focus on sustainable local produce. Executive Chef Dwayne Bourke has a penchant for French cuisine and it shines through in every dish without sending your cholesterol levels rocketing – worth noting he also spearheads the culinary mastery at renowned Jack Rabbit Vineyard. An impressive local and international beverage list guarantees a state of blissful indecision.
